- This is an Add-On License to O365 E1 or E3 plan. This is Advanced Email Security for O365 User Licenses to provide Zero Day protection. With this add-on license user gets Advance security through Safe Links and Safe Attachments. After configuring this License; any email that does not have known virus signature will be quarantined in Microsoft SandBox environment.
- For activation of this product Microsoft Defender for Office 365, user needs to have either Microsoft Office 365 E1 or E3 plans procured and license activated.
- This Microsoft Defender for Office 365 product's license is non-transferable and cannot be used on multiple devices.
- License key/activation will be provided as part of the delivery scope.
- This is a subscription license and valid for the period of 1 year. User needs to ensure this license is renewed in timely manner to continue using this product.
- All terms & conditions related to Microsoft Defender for Office 365 license will be as per Microsoft's product terms, conditions & policies applicable from time to time.
- Renewal policy will be as per Microsoft's license policy being updated from time to time.
- Any renewal payments will be subject to prices applicable at the time of renewal. In case of renewals, user will have to opt for renewals and visit the portal for the same. There won't be auto-renewal for any product or service.
- Once order placed cannot be changed or cancelled.
- Ownership of the license cannot be transferred during anytime of the subscription.
- Besides License key / Activation key delivery or activation of the key there's no other support included in the prices.
- Besides this security plan activated, user's should follow best practices to avoid any exposure of there systems to vulnerabilities. Avoid sharing of system / login credentials with anyone else. Avoid deployment of non-licensed software's on system. Any issues arrising of any kind due to mishandling of the system, not taking proper precautions due to which users system is compromised and data is lost, in any such cases, ESDS or CSC or Microsoft will not be responsible to provide any kind of resolution or support.
For availing paid support from ESDS, user will have to purchase the paid ticket, get the order ID after making the payment.
Go to the portal, click on the support link/tab and mention the payment ID/Order ID in subject line and mention the problem / issue for which support is required.
ESDS support team will verify the order ID for support ticket and then provide the required support. Once the issue is resolved, ESDS team will mark the ticket as resolved and user will have 24 hrs to close the ticket or revert in case there is still any issue, or else the ticket will be closed within 24 hours of marking ticket as resolved by ESDS support team.
